Blackhorse Beer Mile
I guess that for as long as there have been pubs there have been pub crawls. At it's most basic if you plan to go from Pub A to Pub B then you have planned a crawl. Everybody knows of the locally established crawls and the scope in London is infinite. Perhaps the most notorious being the Circle Line Challenge beloved of Students and Rugby Teams!
With the onset of the "craft" beer scene it's afficianados gravitated towards Bermondsey and the growing number of breweries in the area, thus was born the Bermondsey Beer Mile, detailed elsewhere on this site.
As the scene has continued to grow then the possibilities for enjoyable "craft" beer crawls has also grown. There are number of areas in London that are home to multiple breweries with the possibilty to head from one to another. The latest burgeoning area is centred around the Industrial Estate on Blackhorse Lane in Walthamstow, and the Blackhorse Beer Mile is now a thing.
Some of you may be aware that I also have my own website, if you didn't then you do now. On it I am planning on publishing a series of pub crawls, invariably centred around the pubs, bars and taprooms that you can find on this very site. As a taster, and because I'm too lazy to type it all up again, here is the link to Blackhorse Beer Mile guide. Feel free to tell me what you think.
