What was Brave Sir Robin, and before that The Hopsmiths, The Robin becomes the third incarnation of a pub on this site to make it into the Guide. I understand the new owners have previously worked at the Southampton Arms, so it's no surprise to see a very strong cask line and numerous high quality keg beers. Lovely place. A couple of stops on the bus from Finsbury Park station on the Victoria Line, but also round the corner from GOBLIN overground station Crouch Hill.

Recently re-opened and as good as ever, this pub in the heart of Crouch Hill offers and excellent beer selection across 10 taps and 6 handpulls. The corner layout gives plenty of space and there is spillover in to the pavement area outside. Food is limited to bar snacks including cheese and charcuterie boards.
