Back in the day – before London’s beer scene became a thing - Farringdon was a place you could find a surprising amount of good beer, especially Belgian. In this location, Abbaye was a rather good Belgian bar which closed 12+ years ago. The space has gone through several other incarnations since then, most recently being a short lived Draft House before the latest rebrand as an unbranded BrewDog bar. Smart and modern, yet cosy and comfortable, this is a lovely place, with (to be confirmed) 3 cask, 15 keg and c.30 bottles/cans on a really good list. Reports welcome, especially on beer list.
