Bottle shop bar from the jerky people.
Jezza says
This is a very friendly and welcoming bottle shop with on-site drinking, in a railway arch in the heart of the Bermondsey mile. There are two drafts and perhaps 200 bottles/cans, all available either for on-site consumption (tables outside and in) or to take away. As you might imagine, snacks include jerky and they also sell hot sauce. Good atmosphere and a good place. NB: Hiver Tap Room is just round the corner (under the railway) at 56 Stanworth Street, SE1 3NY and is worth a look if you have time (though the beers are brewed elsewhere and not on site).
Steve says
A bar run by Billy Franks jerky it has gone from strength to strength, establishing itself in the upper part of the mile. They have doubled the number of taps and now offer 4 keg beers, always including an offering from Harbour, alongside three fridges of packaged beers. Relatively small seating area inside they have managed to expand their outdoor seating my continuing around the corner to under the railway. No hot food offered, but definitely the best bar snacks on the mile.
