Taproom for a Beckenham based brewery, proud of its local roots.

I wasn’t sure whether to classify this excellent place as a taproom or a brewpub, but it’s probably got more of a taproom feel about it. Whatever way you wish to describe it, there can be few other places in London where you can drink your beer closer to the equipment on which it was brewed – you are literally right next to it, in the heart of the tiny (and spotlessly clean) brewery. When we visited, we found a lovely list of 8 keg beers, 2 from Br3wery and the other 6 from local breweries such as Brick, Canopy and Anspach & Hobday, with a good range of styles and ABVs. The Br3wery beers impressed and we look forward to trying more of them. Note, there are only a couple of tables inside, but there is more space outside on the terrace.

At the end of January 2025 they added the former shop next door as the new taproom space. The number of taps has now increased to 10 and they now offer food. The original space next door has been retained as additional space. Note that they no longer open for drinking at the new brewery site. The brewing kit has now been moved to a new location a couple of streets away which has resulted in this tap room being a lot less cramped. The new brewery space opens infrequently for on-site drinking, keep an eye on their socials. The original tap is a nice space to enjoy their beers dispensed from the 8 taps, which include a couple of guests.

Back to the pub search.
