Traditional old community pub.
Jezza says
Saved from demolition for flats by a community co-operative, formed to buy and save the pub - and it's done just that. Big barn of a place with music/function room at back and a back bar. Beers feature many from shareholding breweries including Brockley, Five Points, Clarkshaws, etc. Five minutes' bike - or 484 bus - ride from Hop Burns & Black in East Dulwich.
Steve says
London’s first co-operatively owned pub and it is very definitely a hub in the local community. Busy with people of all ages enjoying this multi-room, deceptively large, space. 4 handpumps and a dozen taps covering breweries from the whole country. There is a kitchen that serves wonderful smelling pizzas.
